Pentecost investigates the potential and challenges of multiculturalism.
Specifically, during our rehearsal process we aimed to focus on the script's insights
into the plight of refugees, who may be victims of war, oppression, persecution
or other violations of human rights, and into the war in former Yugoslavia.

A word from the author:

'I am delighted you are doing the Scottish premiere of Pentecost, and wish the production every success. Clearly you have taken the themes of the play very seriously and I am excited by the way in which you are articulating / exploring the themes of the play through the method of work.

Please pass on my good wishes and best thoughts to Arabella Velasco and the company.

Yours -

David Edgar
